Legal requirements to get married in Italy

Every country's nationals may have to meet different requirements, in order to get married in Italy. However, one of the reasons why many couples decide for a destination wedding in Italy, is because there are no residence requirements for neither the bride nor groom, meaning that none of them both need to be living in Italy.
This makes celebrating a fully licensed wedding in Italy, a relatively simple proceedure. Although, of course, like any legally binding contract, it requires some important documentation to be presented, and tasks to be completed.

At Italy Italian Weddings, our wedding planner Daniela Castellarin and her team, can take care of everything for you!
