PLEASE  NOTE that for weddings in central Italy (Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio i.e.  Rome), the Consulate of reference is the one based in Rome.  You cannot make an appointment there, but present yourself in Via  Nomentana 116. They are open from 8 am, we suggest you to be there no  later than 7 am.
 
To  obtain the Nulla Osta you shall submit to the Consulate General the  following documentation, (our wedding coordinator assigned to you can  help):

1)  If the applicant has NOT been married before:
- The Russia’s  domestic and foreign passport (in original);
- Birth certificate  (original or notarized copy in full form – including full names of  the parents);

2)  If the applicant has been married before, but the name did not  change:
- The real Russia’s domestic and foreign passport (in  original);
- Birth certificate (original or notarized copy in full  form – including full names of the parents)
-  Certificate of divorce (original or notarized copy);

3) If the applicant  has been married before and changed the name:
- The Russia’s  domestic and foreign passport (in original);
- Birth certificate  (original or notarized copy in full form – including full names of  the parents);
- Certificate of divorce (original or notarized  copy);
- Archival record of the marriage termination, made by the  registry offices of the place where the previous wedding took place,  confirming the change of name of the applicant (in original or  notarized copy);

4) If the applicant was  married and his spouse died:
- The real Russia’s domestic and  foreign passport (in original);
- Birth certificate (original or  notarized copy in full form – including full names of the  parents);
- The death certificate of spouse (original or notarized  copy);

In the case of a change  of surname, name and patronymic, it is requested to show the original  certificate of the change released by the Russian civil registry  offices.
