Castle Banfi is in the Montalcino area in the Brunello wine region in Tuscany. The Castle is located on a hill overlooking vineyards which belong to the Castle’s estate and produces worldwide known Brunello di Montalcino wine. The town of Montalcino is a 15 minute drive from the Castle. A shuttle service can also be organised to reach the Castle from Montalcino. Siena and Montepulciano are just one hour away while Florence is a two hour drive and Rome is two hours and a half from Castle Banfi.

The Castle requires to occupy all the 14 rooms and Suites of the Il Borgo hotel complex in the medieval hamlet attached to the Castle for at least 2 nights in low season (from March to April) and 3 night during high season (from May until the end of October) to hold a Wedding Ceremony and /or Wedding Reception at the Castle. Il Borgo will become your private home with all areas at your disposal guaranteeing total privacy.

Wedding receptions are organized through the Castle’s kitchen staff – all food is cooked espresso by qualified Chefs and staff. Menus are tailored to your preferences with a selection of Castle Banfi estate wines.

Welcome Aperitifs: in the Castle’s courtyard or Rose Garden or on the Castle’s terrace

Seated Meal Indoors: Sala del Capitano Hall which can hold up to 52 participants with imperial table and 99 participants with round tables. With the adjoining hall Sala della Guardia up to 130 participants

Seated Meal outdoors: The Castle’s Courtyard which can hold up to 80 participants
