Certaldo Wedding Hall (Palazzo Pretorio) was once the residence of the Florentine governors and seat of the Vicariate of Certaldo. Palazzo Pretorio has been recently restored to its original conditions and has a picturesque facade and court decorated with coats of arms. Interiors are decorated with wonderful frescoes dating from the I3th to the 16th centuries. This is the most impressive palace in all Certaldo! Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies are held in the charming courtyard where a beautiful well stands .This is one of the few Wedding Halls in all Italy where wedding ceremonies are performed outdoors !
In case of inclement weather, ceremonies are performed in a beautiful hall inside the palace finely adorned with precious frescoes. The Wedding Hall is in the highest building in Certaldo Alto and offers nice panoramic views over Certaldo and countryside. Outside is a facade decorated with heraldic shields while the inside includes the quarters of the Vicar and his family and rooms formerly used as the seat of government. This is truly a wonderful and romantic setting for a unique Tuscan Wedding in Italy!
